Would it be possible to use a pressure cooker to make chutney, to speed-up the cooking process?

I made some the other day, & the whole house smells of vinegar:-(

Yes! Cooker must be no more than half-full and cooking times reduced to between 8 and 15 minutes @ high pressure depending on actual ingredients.

Thanks for your answer ginge. Wouldn't be much use, the chutney I made took about 4hrs to render down.
will the vinegar still reduce in a pressure cooker?
I have just browsed recipes, it seems you have to reduce the chutney uncovered after pressure cooking the mixture to soften the veg or fruit

Looks like I'll be getting the camp stove out & cooking it in the shed.
That's right. You cook all the tough stuff under pressure then add remainder of vinegar and the sugar and it takes another 15 minutes open to reduce down. Sounds better than 4 hours!
