what's on your menu today?

for us it's the usual sandwich for lunch - egg mayo today, followed by a slice of home-made banana cake and a nectarine.
evening meal will be lamb steaks with cauli, broc, carrots, peas and gravy.
maybe a freddo for supper :)

i've never had a kebab.
well, actually, i've had a home-made bacon and banana one on a skewer but not one from a kebab shop. what's the meat on those things that turn slowly round?

I had ice cream this morning, an avocado later, and a couple mangoes later on.

Piece of granary toast for brekkie. Field mushrooms stuffed with rarebit for lunch. Then chicken stir fry for tea.

Eath...that's just doner kebabs. They are disgusting. Food poisoning on a pole...Shish kebab (lamb) and chicken kebabs are chargrilled and are actually quite healthy.

I presume Vibes had a doner....classless :-)

I think I'm having surf and turf. Can't decide between chips or jacket potato...toms, mushrooms, onion rings and peas. I might even make a Diane sauce.

Ed...I had boiled bacon and cabbage for dinner last night..so some bubble and squeak might be called for.

fave leftovers? anything really, i love cold leftover food - chinese take-away, christmas dinner with cold sprouts, pasta bake.....it all seems tastier the next day, cold.

did you ever have a christmas dinner leftovers butty - cold meat, cold veg mashed up on top, cold bread sauce, stuffing, cranberry sauce and solidified gravy? now that really does take some beating :)
