meals you can freeze then put in the oven

Hi, am going into hospital for just over a week soon. My husband will be working but i still want him to have time to come and visit me :)
To Make his life easier i'd like to cook some meals and put them in the freezer - it needs to be meals that don't need defrosting and can be shoved straight in the oven.
So far on my list is shepherds pie and that's it!
Suggestions please?

If it were me (and I am no great cook), I would nip round to the supermarket and buy ready dinners, then your husband can just stick the whole lot in the oven or microwave - all of it will either be ready-frozen or suitable for freezing.

I find it amazing they managed to fit me in so quickly (probably something to do witht he sob story letter i wrote them)

Most things cook from frozen ok...as long as it gets to the right temp. The quality might not be so good but..!! We are talking about a man here. Will he really notice?

do have a slow cooker. However, mr bednobs IS a man and while he is a great cook, he will never remember to get things out of the freezer, or sort anything in the mornings before work so it needs to be something that can go straight from frezzer to cooker when he gets in and is out taking the dogs for a walk
