What am I going to do for dinner?

It's cold and miserable so I was thinking a nice bowl of Irish stew.

But I fancy soup and crusty bread...

Taking into consideration that we don't really do Mondays....so any other ideas?

After pigging-out most weekends, it's anything that's easy on Mondays. Today it's thick oven chips, chicken cordon-bleu (in oven at same time) and ratatouille (out of can) - quick, easy and tasty.

What are you having with it?

I'm starting to fancy a roast now....
i am indeed, its lush, cept fatboy rang me at 8 and woke me up, was not impressed!

i've got onions carrots pots and some beef stock and a bottle of red wine in there. will just have it with some crusty bread
Chicken cordon-bleu are similar to chicken Kievs but with bacon and cheese inside instead of garlic butter - very unhealthy but it's only occasionally. Large cans of ratatouille available in Lidl although I usually make it homemade from scratch. But as I said, anything easy on a Monday!!

I wouldn't like that I don't think. I'm not a chicken fan...

I'm swaying towards a roast at the moment. Maybe pork...
Dump everything in a large pot and season to taste. Bring to a boil then lower heat and simmer until everything is tender. No fussing over and not much to clean up, and soup will be ready in time...
we're having whatever that stuffed pasta is called and some sort of sauce, probably a white-ish one with some leeks and peas added.quick and easy.
lol vibes never seen a "fcuk of t-bone " on the menu before!!

Had a roast yesterday and i always make sure there's enough veg and potatoes left over for bubble n squeek on a monday.....served with cold ham (no meat was left yesterday :-( ), baked beans and loads of sweet pickle !!!!!
My OH is this evening trying to show me the ways of macaroni cheese!

I love pasta, and adore cheese, but have never liked it. Not had it for years though, so my OH is making it for me tonight, to have with salad :-)
