I spent way too much money for my mother's birthday, but I guess I'm over-compensating for the fact that my Dad probably won't get her a present.

However, I haven't really done anything to be proud of today.
Boss wasn't in today and I have to admit I took my foot of the gas abit so not to proud of that. But I will make it up.
No!.......afraid not stoke!.........wish I could really, I drove 165 miles through driving rain, and flooded roads, to see a client, but that's my job!..........it was a bit hairy at times though, I have to say!.............got here safely though!..............lol........
There would always be something that you have done today that you could be proud of Stoke/NoM. Even if it is something really insignificant
just remembered I went with Mrs K to see daughters harvest festival at school when she was only expecting mum so that was a nice surprise for her.

Okay...

I'm proud of the fact I did bugger all at work today. I'm proud of the fact that I cadged a lift home instead of paying for a cab. I'm proud of the fact that I took a 1hr20m lunch break. I'm proud of the fact that I still haven't been ar5ed to wrap my mother's birthday pressies and I'm prodigiously proud of the fact that I've sat on the computer all night messing about.
Yes, getting a good review at work despite some trying circumstances over the past few weeks and making it through a very tough work week after ending up having minor surgery in hospital on Sunday night and having to go back up the hospital nearly every day while still working long hours. It's been a loooong week but I made it through with results to show for it.

I am seriously looking forward to a rest this weekend, few hours in work is my lot until Monday now :)
lazy bugger lol
My car passed it's MOT but only because I cleaned and valeted it and made it look brilliant!
if only it was that easy dot ...
wow, do they give MOTs for good looks up your way, Dot? Around here it's if they've got a wheel on each corner and the right thickness of rubber on the wiper blades.

I delivered books to a customer who recently lost her husband and was going to have to come out in foul weather to collect them.
