Do you think that for the rubbish they serve it's quite expensive?

I mean you get the same quality (or the lack of it) for half the price, from a burger van.

So why do so many people regularly eat there? it's not even that nice and there's better convienience foods around.

Not a fan but I'd prefer it to a greasy burger van offering. In comparison with other ways of eating out McDs is really cheap.

£1.29 for a double cheese burger is far from being expensive, surely?

for all the offel and crud in the burger, that tastes of cardboard, aswell as the soggy buns i've always had it is.

Mcdonalds standards are usually high,when it comes to serving its products,i have never had a bad mcdonalds,go to burger king have a change..

McDonalds has overheads eg shop rent, fixtures and fittings, and insurance and paying the staff which all contribute to the total cost of buying a burger, a burger van's costs will be much less so they can charge less. Why do you go in McDonalds then, if you think it's so much rubbish?

I find McDonalds to be very clean and i can't say the same about some of the burger vans i have used.

Boxtops I try not to, unless I have to, such as when we stopped there on the way back from an art trip, or we arrived home at about 7am, we had no food and it was the only place where we could get hot food . . .

I had a coffe and some chicken nuggets a few months ago, it wasn't bad at all. I reckon they must be cleaner than the burger van.

I wouldnt touch them, look at the article in the daily mail today about the happy meal that has not gone mouldy in 6 months! can you imagine what stuff its pumped with to keep it "fresh" it also makes you wonder how old the products sold to you are if they can keep for so long without a visual sign of spoilage.. :o

I think the thing about Mc Donalds is that when you go in you know what you are getting as they are the same everywhere. Whereas a burger van or even cafe differ from place to place.

my friends son used to get mcdonalds regularly, every couple of mcd's he would suffer vomitting and diarrhoea.

I much prefer burger king and only go once in a blue moon.

Lots of my colleagues go to Mcdonalds or Kentucky and spend a small fortune at lunchtime. I say to them, you could buy a whole chicken for that!!

mcdonals never fill me up, I'd say I have about 3 a year at the max
