I can't tell you why, but I think it's eels
Question Author
is it a local dish somewhere please
Please - What is in a coldharbour pie? Thank you, cdwrover123
Coldharbour Lane is in Brixton so it could be a South/East London dish verging on the Cockney (maybe boxtops is on the right track with the eels)
Coldharbour's in Surrey, though, it's near to Guildford. It just sounds like a cold fish pie to me (bit like starrygazy pie, with the eyes staring up at you)
Oh I couldn't eat anything with a face boxy
do you mean "not with the face still joined on", gran? Didn't know you were a veggie!
I just googled it and it is served in The Gun restaurant in Londons Docklands, but I still don't know whats in it.
