making flapjacks using ready made muesli

Hi -i bought a pack of alpen extra fruit muesli and its too 'fruity' for my taste - has anyone a recipe i could use it in -i thought of adding golden syrup and making flapjacks or breakfast bars -any recipes gratefully recieved -i'm snowed in at the moment so having a 'using up' and baking day

I've thought of that but there are so many raisins and other dried fruit in it it may burn before its cooked.

wow thanks vegasmad - made these this morning and they are FANTASTIC -and helped me use up some oats i bought in a 'porrige for breakfast' stage that lasted about two days -thanx again x
