There have been a lot of posts, about what meat people are having for their christmas meal.
I am looking for ideas for deserts. Do you have any suggestions ?

Where to start!

White chocolate amaretto terrine with plum coulis (bit of a clat though, but made well in advance)
Bombe mexicaine (a coffee toffee meringue filled with cream - if you make it in advance and freeze it, it's much better and very simple)
Chocolate log
Any suggestions for desserts for people who cannot tolerate dairy or lactose?
I have a great recipe for a lime & coconut cheesecake, and a pear tarte tatin - no good for those who cannot eat dairy though :-(
this one comes up trumps at any dinner party. literally.
