That's with pesto tho isn't it? Can you not just have nuts by themselves with pasta in the way cashew nuts go with rice?

Which nut would you recommend? My dad likes pasta and he likes cashews but I'm not sure how to put them together in what sauce?

There was only one answer there when I started typing!

As long as you have some sort of sauce you could easily use pine nuts (or walnuts) with any type of pasta.

Thanks buenchico it seems that the pie nuts are the ones recommended by the recipes
