I take it a "hobbleskirt" bottle is the old type bottle that it used to be sold in. I've never heard of that word.

A cup of tea in a transparent cup (those smoked glass ones) always seems to taste odd. The same brew in a mug seems to taste so much different.

Its weird that Prudie. I normally drink my tea out of a mug but whenever I've had it out of a bone china cup it seems to taste so much nicer.

I can't do links but it is on Wikipedia as relating to the hem of a skirt which impedes a wearers ability to walk - hence, hobble skirt. Same shape as a 'proper' coke bottle.
