I assume you are having trouble getting hold of it. We had this conversation in the local a few days ago and it appears that the company that made it has now gone bust, although it is still made in america under a different name ( I think it was Uncle Jack's)

Comptons Gravy Salt is still being manufactured by Teasdales Confectionery Ltd, Reg Office - 51 Walkmill Crescent, Carlisle, Cumbria, CA1 2WF. The Company who used to make it did not go bust they just decided to cease manufacturing and sold the equipment to Teasdales.
