M & S Meal Deal this weekend

Had a look and saw it was £20 as its Valentines day...thought it was another rip off.

Then I looked at the menu and really its excellent value for whats on offer - so we're off to Perth to pick something out :)

Green pea, bean and veg
Strawberry and champagne souffles
Pinot Grigio (the whole bottle to myself)

I'll give the chocolates to the kids after they've had their egg and chips...lol

Looks very nice...but whose idea was it to wrap chicken in Parma ham (so far-so good)....and then stuff with CHEDDAR???? yuck......

Don't get me wrong...I LOVE a good strong cheddar......but it's all wrong with Parma ham.........Pesto and Parmesan would have been a much better filling...IMO....lol

looks ok , red .not an extensive menu, but with these meal deals quite often they "run out " of the most popular dishes very quickly...anne

21 day hung Rump Steak with peppercorn sauce -mmm
Gastro chips (had them before and they are lush-we dont do chips so a treat) - mmm
Millionaire Shortbread - mmm
Bottle of Cava Rosé (included but on shelf for £8.99) mmm
Box of Chocs.

Stowed out with people but as quick as things were coming off the shelves there was an army of really helpful assistants replenishing.I mentioned that they would soon run and they said they wouldnt as they have more than enough.

We had a curry a couple of weeks back -it wasnt too shabby but not excellent but we thought that was okay for £40...

This is excellent value for money...if you can afford it and theres an M & S close by treat yourself -a 3 course meal with the finest ingredients and wine for a tenner each !!
