Are 'pepsi max' and 'diet pepsi' the same drink. As far as I can make out from marketing blurb, the only difference seems to be that one is aimed at men; the other at women?

No they are different drinks, there is a definite difference in taste.

 

BTW, which do you think is aimed at men and which at women?

I was looking at a marketing forum that claimed 'pepsi max' was basically diet pepsi (though it has an extra bit of caffiene) as men traditionally didn't like to buy diet products. A thought echoed by the fact that Coca-Cola are dropping 'diet coke' for 'coke Z'

judging by taste, i'd say that while both have less sugar than regular pepsi, max contains more sweeteners than diet.

Yeah pepsi max is alot sweeter but better! Since trying pepsi max i never bother with diet coke or diet pepsi!

yes max is the best diet cola it has the least artificial taste of any of them, diet pepsi has a very strong chemical taste to it.

my son is a diebetic and wont touch pepsi max...says its to sweet...i dunno though i dont touch the stuff...gimme vodka anytime..lol  with regular pepsi or coke  ..lol

diet pepsi is a regular diet drink

pepsi max is max taste but no saugr  its loaded with sweetner and its banned by the athletic society for the amount of caffeine ity contains!
