For a quick and tasty snack, take off the stalk wipe or peel them. Put them on a microwaveable plate, sprinkle with sea salt and nuke them until they start to bead with their own moisture. Put on top of sliced and buttered toast and drop a little tabasco on them and enjoy. Recipe courtesy of Keith Foyd, bless him. Also good with a poached egg as well.
Put on a plate stalk upermost, add a knob of butter and a splash of worcester sauce. Microwave at about 300 watts for 2 mins or thereabouts or until the butter melts and the mushroom begins to collapse. Serve on toast..
