i am making pancakes but have ran out of SR.flour,can i use plain,i have baking soda and bicarb.of soda,how much do i use?

For pancake batter you can use EITHER plain or self-raising.
I only ever use plain flour for my pancakes.......no complaints so far!
I only ever use plain flower for pancakes, unless I'm making Scottish pancakes.
I only ever use plain flour as well
I wouldn't use SR flour for a pancake

I don't kate. The eggs give it the rise.

i was going to put fruit in them ,so will that be ok.(summer fruits)
