going to a funeral tomorrow and now sure if anyone will be coming back with me after the tea and cakes. Hae got a chicken out of the freezer only takes one and a half hours to cook and have plenty of rice and pasta but think I will need some sort of sauce any ideas please??

If you are going to do fricassee (yum) get some sliced almonds and lightly toast then to sprinkle on top as a garnish or condiment.

How about chicken and rice braise

seal chicken pop in a casserole dish, add onions carrots and mushrooms pop in some rice and stock pop a lid on it and stick in the oven - cook till the rice absorbs all the stock mmmmm
