Family Recipes From Gloria Hunniford
Bought and received this yesterday via internet. A bit disappointed - about 9 pages of her and family etc and photos and not too many recipes.
Also the book suggests buying ready made pastry (that's fine by me), (I never thought that was out 60 years ago) some recipes not great - a good few I wouldn't use.
I do like any recipe book to tell the reader "how to" from scratch.
My mother was a 2 meat and veg cook but we survived. but my aunt went to cookery school and she was superb.
I am going to try cookery school maybe come September but then again who do I try my recipes on ie to find out if they live or die LOL. Again freezing whilst it perpetrates to do the job I don't think home or ready made food is the same. JjCon - another option is try all my recipes and end up like Mr Blobby.
