Farewell Nungate

tomorrow our dear friend nungate is being laid to rest, a few of us are going to say our farewells. Nungate will be greatly missed and remembered with tremendous affection for her great sense of fun and humour and in particular the many evenings of hilarity at nungate towers with the mad over 50s club.
It would be nice if at around 11.30am tomorrow those of you who wish to pay respects think of her , queenie and her husband at this sad time, say a wee silent prayer , light a candle or simply say a quiet goodbye.

may there be many tailcocks and volly vonts awairing you dear Nungate.... xxxx..

You know what? This is the first time that I have ever responded to one of these "emotional" threads; however, if I could be at the service, I would gladly ring the carillon in the church tower to play "Ave Maria" (being a sort of clock person) for Nungate...Those "Nungate Tower" threads of hers were great.
