6 medium eggs for 5 large ones in a cake recipe?

I think I would put in 7 or possibly even 8 medium eggs to replace 5 large ones....

Do you have any dried egg to top up the quantities instead ?

I alwas weigh my eggs so if the recipe says 12 oz marg or flour I Weigh the eggs to 12oz if I havent enough eggs I make it up with milk.

I was making a Christmas cake recipe, very rich! 12 oz each of currants/sultanas/raisins so didn't want it to go wrong! I was midway through making it, thanks for your replies! xxx
