Please can anyone help me,
I want to cook a steak & kidney pudding for 2 persons...

1.How much meat will I need (can I use rump steak)?
2. What size basin will I need?
3. How much suet pastry will I need to make for the basin?

Spreeny you maybe best googling the recipe for steak and kidney puds, as not many people make these any more,and just half the recipe as most are for serving four people,you could use rump steak but a tight expensive methinks, me personally would get a a good stewing steak@kidney and cook it off first then put in basin with a suet base and lid,as for size of basin you will just have to just look around for a smaller one, or ask the shop asst,and if all else fails, go out and buy a steak and kidney pud from the supermarket!!!!

I think I'll still have a go myself ... I'm a bit scared of shop bought pies, (like to see what's gone into them).
