choc chip muffins
i made these at weekend but they turned out a bit dry..what went wrong? receipe said 400g flour and only 50g butter and mix till bread crumbs...thing is it just seems to be too floury so i added another 50g butter.....first time ive made muffins has anyone else made them to the same ratio of flour butter...maybe i over cooked them lol

However, I've never rubbed the fat into the flour for muffins.... certainly for biscuits, shortcake or pastry but not for sponges.
