apple, and that has made my decision for me, i've been debating whether to have apple crumble and custard or go to bed, right off to heat it up :-)
who me? lol!
can I have some please mccfluff-got a bit peckish now! :-)
Apple and pear and use chopped almonds and walnuts in your crumble mix...delicious! xx
yep got plenty to go round, mind you the cat has to have her share of the custard or she'll sulk......
so your cat's the one that got the custard, not the cream

either apple with cinnamon or rhubarb (no cinnamon) - Mmmmmmm
Apple and pear for me-no nuts but yes to some cinnamon in the crumble mix.
When in season-Victoiria plumbs..also with pear or on their own...yummm.
Rhubarb or gooseberry, with creme fraiche - lovely
I love just about any sort of fruit crumble... apple and blackcurrant is probably my favourite, followed by plum and then rhubarb... I often add some oats to the basic crumble mix and sometimes chopped mixed nuts :)

Here's a very interesting recipe from Waitrose which includes some crushed Corsini Amaretti Morbidi biscuits in the crumble topping - very very nice !!!

Try a peach and pineapple one for something slightly different !!!!!!
i love rhubarb -- nice and simple without a lot of spices. this recipe is nice with just a few ingredients
