Hi Miranda, yes you are right, they came in a blue and white box and each piece was wrapped in silver paper. Also the nougat itself was wrapped in rice paper. A lot of people mistook the turkish delight for cherries or some other fruit.
I have just finished my batch that I made, so morish that it did not take me long to eat it, even though I tried to limit myself to 2 pieces at a time! It all keeps very well in a plastic bag, I did not wrap my pieces of nougat in rice paper.
