channel 4 website recipe vs tv show recipe
hello once again and greets the group
i was able to see river cottage (summer 2009) and i really like the recipes...one in particular was for the goats cheesecake....my question is why is there such a difference between the channel 4 website recipe
http://www.channel4.com/food/recipes/chefs/hug h-fearnley-whittingstall/hugh-s-goat-s-cheesec ake-with-gooseberry-compote-recipe_p_1.html
and the one that hugh read while he was making it (here is a basic run down of ingredients he was giving on the air--
600 g of goats cheese vs 750g in the website
100 g of unsalted butter vs 45 on the website
150 g of casters sugar vs 75 g on the website
zest of one orange vs 2 plus a tbsp of orange juice
(for the compote-
200 g of gooseberries vs 500 on the website
125 g of caster sugar vs 75 on the website....)
is this 2 versions of the same recipe....i am wondering why there is such a discrepancy between the two of them....i am wondering if i am missing something here...
thanks to all in advance for your help!!!!!
