Try Strawberry and Blue Cheese salad.
Hi folks, i have posted on here before but changed my ID due to horrid creatures giving me grief on the AB.
Nevertheless, i have a wonderful salad for you to try, very simple and very very nice.
You need 500g Strawberries, sliced in two. Sprinkle 2 tbs sugar(i use Splenda) all over, stir them without breaking them and stick 'em in the fridge overnight.
Shred iceberg, toss with 4tbs crumbled Stilton or Gorgonzola cheese, 3tbs Newmans Own Olive oil and Vinegar dressing. Spread it on plates(about 4) divide the strawberries on to the plates, sprinkle on some chopped walnuts or pecans and add a little more dressing to taste.
Believe me it is wonderful, if you like all the ingredients that is. It sounds as though there is nothing to it but it really is nice. Perfect for the sun when it comes, you can use it as a starter or a main course, possibly with some grilled chicken.
