slice the banana in half (but keep skin on) stuff the middle with nuts and choclate (buttons work well) close up and wrap in foil, bake in the oven then serve with loads of whipped cream
There is a way to make the perfect (cold) banana split:
1) In an oblong dish if you have one, a small layer of winter or summer fruits
2) Peel & slice banana down the middle & lay over the fruits
3) Layer dairy / vanilla ice cream along the sides of the banana
4) whipping cream in between the banana
5) drizzle with a dark choc sauce, sprinkle with nuts & add a couple of sugar cone wafers.
THE ONLY WAY!! Delish!
