How much would the right spec computer set me back if i wanted to play WoW?

for a better experience a intel core 2 processor 2gig ram (vista) 1gig (xp) and a 7600gt or higher
hardcore = same as above with large 1080p monitor (for getting all the icons on the screen at the same time without losing play area) and a 7950gx2 or better
For the high end machines you could do worse than try alien ware or dell (both much the same) or Scan.

I have a �400 DELL PC with 512 ram and a graphics card which meets the minimum spec on the box along with a dual core processor which again is just their minumum spec and it works ok but I can't have anythign else running in the backgroud, cept anti-virus. I got a nice screen with my DELL though so if you're just after the tower, it should be pretty cheap.
