Sims 2 - Ghosts!

How do you get rid of ghosts on the sims 2?

Character died and left behind an urn which remains in the house, do I need to do something with this?

Getting annoying being woken up every night and p*ss*ng myself!!!!! :o)

I had that! Bl**dy ghosts kept turning the stereos and the televisions and the lights on - every night!
Just click on the urn and press your delete key. You can do the same with a gravestone. Or just click on your sims inventory where they hold all their stuff and put the urn there.

Thanks Clem. Feels a bit harsh to dispose of my adopted mothers ashes ;o) but will try putting them into inventory.......

You don't have to get rid of the ashes. So long as you have a 2nd storey to your house where your Sims can sleep then the ghosts won't be able to wake you because they can't go upstairs!

I have a family who live in a house which used to be a graveyard. They have ghosts nearly every night but none of them are woken because they're all soundly asleep upstairs. :o)
