Playing robert d anderson & the legacy of cthulhu on pc and stuck as there are no walkthroughs on the net yet.
In a room with 4 electrical boxes on the wall which are live and shorting out.There are 4 switches with roman numerals and if you pull a wrong switch you die.
I managed to do all four but nothing happened (expecting the power to shut off).
Anyone enlighten me?

I am playing this game too, but i am stuck in the early beginning. It's the first level in the basement, where is same electric wire. I climb it up by the tube, but i don't know what to do in the next room with the barrels near by some engine on the mirador or something familier. Please help me and maybe, I will help you if i get to the level, where is your problem.

If it's the place i think it is...
On the right are a few boxes which you jump onto and then onto the pipes to take you over the electrified part of the room.
if i'm wrong try to explain in more detail what the room looks like etc to jog my memory.
sometimes shooting a barrel will blow a hole in a wall to help you proceede

It is a high room with stairs on the both sides. Beetween this stairs, there is a bar, chairs, the table and fireplace. If I go by the left stairs, i will get to the mirador where i see the whole room bellow me. And there is a big yellow engine (or something familier), some explosive barrels and some ordinary. If I get very close, the main person says: "This barrels can be used". I tried to shoot them to broke an engine but it didn't do anything. Maybe I must put them down from the mirador and then blow somewhere a hole. But i don't have an idea where it could be. On the second mirador, on the right side, there is nothing interesting, only some bullets.
