any good games to play fps

anyone got a good FPS game to recommend please

I'm not a big fan of multiplayer FPS's as I had all that fun when Doom and Quake came out, I prefer single player.
My personal favourites are all the Half Life series especially Half Life 2 and it's expansions, Portal is great for a thinking type of FPS, and of course Quake 4 for action all the way.

My personal favourite at the mo is FarCry 2. Seriously good fun. Bioshock was good too.

2) Call of Duty, Modern Warfare 2, plus expansion packs
3) Call of Duty 4

One for the future is Medal of Honour (due in Oct 2010) testing the beta atm, seems quite good.

get in to the Half life series there old but still good graphics and epic game play, then there is the zombie games left for dead and left for dead 2.

i play bad comapny 2 and Counter strike source left for dead 2
