xbox game with destructive scenery

I'm sure I've asked this before! (my poor memory)

I recall downloading a demo of a game that involved you jumping into a big robot suit and smashing buildings etc with big flailing robot arms.

The game engine was fairly unique in the fact it gave you the ability to smash anything and also 'remembered' the damage you caused (eg once you smashed something it stayed smashed)

I thought of that - but did it have "big robot suits"? Or is that the later ones?

Looking at Amazon there is one called Red Faction: Armegeddon but they didnt seem to stock it? Not sure if its out yet etc.

Oh well if its not Guerilla looks pretty good. I did check out a gameplay video on YouTube and looks the sort of game I can get my teeth into. Only a tenner as well!

got it today (not bad considering I ordered it on tuesday using free postage option) It looks and plays really well, sandbox style, lots of vehicles, weapons and oh, that hammer!

just over an 'ayrton senna' from amazon.

Loads of multiplayer modes and also lots of 'pass the controller' 2 player challenges too.

Mind you, saw an ad for RF: Armegeddon on TV earlier, thats why its fairly cheap.

Red Faction Armageddon is due to be released at the beginning of June, which is why Guerilla is going cheap at the moment. It's an entertaining game although I'd guess the MP side of things has gone pretty quiet now
