So this movie is based on a computer game, right ?

Does anyone here play the game ?

Is it good ?

It seems like a cross between Alien and Tomb Raider.

Yes its a computer game from years ago, I had it on the Playstation 2. The Resident evil 2 game was more popular and was similar to tomb raider game in the fact that you was a person who walked around places attacking things and solving puzzles, It was more scary though with zombies and monsters. Theres a few Resident evil films out and a few different games also.

Yes, I've bought movies 1 and 2, and I'm watching 1 at the moment.

I don't play any computer games, but the movie seems quite jolly, in a silly, zombiefied, kind of way.

I've only played Resi 1&2. Classed as 'survival horror' it was ground-breaking at the time for cinematic cut scenes and atmospheric camera angles. Lots of puzzles and gory action.

I do own Resi 4 for the ps2 but never really completed it - dont know why!?

I don't think I'm going to start gaming, but I enjoyed the movie.

It was a bit daft, but quite fun.

I'm going to buy the rest of the series whwn I'm out.

@Pixi, I've just downloaded them all to play on some Console Emulators on my pc, I've got them all now :)


@joggerjayne If you've ever played Dino Crisis/Silent Hill, it is exactly the same, but with zombies, and a better story, with better puzzles, well, maybe some puzzles aren't as good as Silent Hill, but they're almost exactly the same.

Oh, and resident evil: extinction, is, IMO a bit of a let down compared to the rest, its still a good watch, but its just, I dunno, something I don't really like about it....
