Well, I finally decided last night to get it. Pre-ordered the pc version.
Has a good evening last night on the beta with four of us in a team, and got a squad to ourselves.

MW3 will have to wait!!!

Its on the 360 marketplace now but seems to be getting mixed reviews mainly because its mostly the A-rated players on it handing everyone back their bottoms.

Had a quick play and meh.Straight back to BFBC2.
The gameplay is fine but the learning curve is vertical as you start with nothing other than basic kit.
The map is also the least 'Battlefield' like in its design that I've ever played.
The map will get better once you learn it and the graphics are a marginal step up.

I'm working late turn, so not gaming for a few days. I see they've brought back 'proning' which was left out of BFBC2 There was a big outcry at the time but I thought it was a good decision. With 'proning' brought back I've had to re-adjust my gameplay. No doubt you will see a return of the 'dolphin divers'!!

Have continued with it and as suspected (and as previously experienced with Bad Company) it snowballs the more time you give it the more it gives back.
Highly addictive gameplay and cannot wait now for Oct 28th.
I love the bipod feature on most guns and how intuitive it is. If you are looking over a wall for example and then press left trigger to look down the sites, it automatically puts the bipod up.
The accoustics are good too particularly in the post metro outside area.
Its not without its faults however but this is to be expected in a beta e.g. sound drops out, when in the metro sounds from upstairs appear as though they are alongside you and also people upstairs can occasionally be seen through the ceiling!
