Friend has new Nintendo DS he got online from Hong Kong - it has a power adaptor that is just a generic one and does not say Nintendo on it or on the box .Does it mean the DS is fake?

probably. how much did he pay for it? That'll probably say whether it's fake or not

£100- but it had 100 games supplied on sd card- iirc a basic DSI is that much

If it was bought with a dodgy pirated game card then its probably a fake ds.
