How do you tell if you have an Xbox 360 or a 360 elite, from the console?

When I bought it it was unboxed and sold as the elite but it only says 360 on the console and I can't find any way of finding out what type it is.

I have an Elite and as far as I can remember the only differences are that it was black (standard 360 was white) and had a 120gig hard drive (standard 360 came with 20 gig hard drive, premium 60gig).

Cant add anything that hasnt already been said, if its black then its an elite(but could be the newer 1 with the 250gb hd )
