Morning all
I'm trying to download candy crush onto my I Pad from apple, although it says free, when I try to download it, it asks for Apple ID which is fine but then it wants my credit card details before it will install it. If its a free App, why does it need payment details, anyone know.?

You have to enter your credit card details to use the App Store - these will be stored and used every time you purchase something.

It sounds like you haven't set this up already?

Additionally, you can buy things (with real money) in the game - so it will need your card details for that.

Actually you don't have to register your card as I haven't done it and I get free apps ok. There's instructions on the net on how to do it.
