Is there any way of telling if the blue ray belongs to the ps3 in case I have brought a ps3 that's been made up from other ps3 that I brought from eBay

You could look inside and see if any of the tamper evident screws have been tampered with. They are screws with a blue dollop of paint on them that cracks when anyone tries to unscrew anything.
