Hi all.
My son is 7 and has a PS3, however I can't seem to find many games for his age group and he says a school friend has an xbox with lots of games. We were thinking of maybe getting him an xbox for Christmas but we're not sure which one. I believe there are a couple of different models so I'd like to ask if anyone could suggest which xbox we should get him, and are there many games for his age group? Thanks.

There are quite a lot of kids games for the ps3, Amazons top picks are:

The new Xbox One has just been released, so has a very high price tag of around £430

The games for the Xbox One will also be more expensive and there won't be as many to choose from as compared to ps3 at the moment.

The previous version was the Xbox 36whaling is cheaper and has lots of cheaper games to however these days a lot of game developers make versions for Xbox and ps3 so if you are thinking of switching console for just different game choice you would be disappointed. In my opinion there is no point switch between the old ps3 and old Xbox
Lol I have no idea how my iPad auto corrected Xbox 360 to Xbox 36whaling!!

To be clear previous version Xbox 360, the 360 is cheaper ....
Xbox 360 is the equivalent to the PS3 and as its successor the Xbox One has just been released there are many offers available for the console and several games at a very good price. These bundles are available for less than £200 compared with the brand new Xbox One which costs £430 on its own!

Thanks for the advice, I have used the link and we will look at getting more games for his PS3, he only got it last Christmas so it probably makes more sense to be honest. Thanks again.
xbox 360 and go online. There are loads of age-suitable games at pretty good prices from independent games developers.

Its possible to just play these indie games and not have to bother with the big, expensive games!
