Deposited £10 & made my way up to £150!!

Against my better judgement I didnt withdraw and lost it all.

I had to ban myself from playing scratchcard type games on the national lottery website. I lost £20 the first time I used it, it happened very quickly. To authorise the instant games again I have to phone them so have never done so.

I can see how people get addicted

I reckon these on line gambling sites are rigged to get you winning then you are hooked. Terrible sites and should be banned as its usually those with the least disposable income that ends up on them.

How long did it take you ? Was the cost per hour comparable to the cost of other pastimes ? Like going to the pub or cinema ? Don't beat yourself up because you paid for entertainment. You don't lose what you never withdrew. Leaving £10 down isn't a tragedy unless you're doing so every 5 minutes.

I applied to withdraw it then cancelled it and bloody lost it!

If we managed to double our stake, the £40 was immediately withdrawn. Then each and every time the bank rose to £50, we withdraw. If we had a bad night and the initial stake of £40 was lost, that was it, the lap top was switched off. I have no doubt whatsoever that the majority of those who do play on line roulette, enjoy themselves. Yet you would ruin their enjoyment because a small proportion of players are addicted?

Those that are addicted cannot afford it. Then how can they afford to become addicted in the first place? My 'sensible' approach to gambling (of any kind) stems from the fact that i work extremely hard for my money and you would have to work almost as hard to prise it from my grip. One day a week (usually Saturday) i will gamble about a day's wages but only because i can afford to take the loss. And i always gamble to a budget with 10% to 15% of any winnings made available for another bet should i so wish.

A few years ago I joined the roulette thing on ITV (Late night tv) if you deposited I think a maximum back then of £400 they would give you £400 but you had to gamble the £400 X amount of times before it became yours.

So I bet £50 red £50 black and £2 on green (0) So I could only lose £2 a spin

After 4 spins they stopped my account and gave me my £400 back.
