I used to play this game years ago, I think on a megadrive which has long since gone. I am not a gamer so I have no devices now. Is there a way that I can play this game on my laptop, and also play it with someone else remotely?
I found this review. At the bottom it says that the game is available on Windows PC, but I have no clue where to go or how to get the game!
Thanks.

Thanks Mozz, but that is the original game.
So sorry, I forgot to attach the link that I mentioned.
It is the newer version of the game called Toejam & Earl Back in the Groove.
This is the link I meant to add in my original post.

Not sure Shivvy. I wasn't really a console user, I was an Amiga boy, wiling my time away on Chamionship Manager and Monkey Island.
£11.39 to download for PC from here:

(I got that link from the game's official website, so it should be totally safe)
I used to love that game. Just saying :-)

Ah thats fantastic Buenchico - thanks.
I have a couple of further questions if anyone can answer . . .
1) If I buy that, does it download onto my laptop? And can it be moved to a new laptop if I need to change my current one?
2) Can I play the game with someone else in a different location if they also buy the game?
3) Can a controller be bought to play this game on my laptop? I have played the original game (that Mozz provided the link for) on the laptop, but I have to use the direction arrows which is awkward compared to a controller.
Thanks.
The download will (I think) get you the set-upfile for the game, which you run on your PC/laptop to install it. (There might be the need to register your installation online, which will provide you with a product key to copy & paste into a screen at the start of the game in order to activate it).

The licence for the game will probably only allow you to install it onto one machine but, in practice, if you copy the set-up file to another machine (and, if necessary, retain a copy of the product code), using it on a different machine shouldn't be a problem.

I'm not sure if the game can be played by two players online, although there is a reference in the manual to 'multi-player mode':

as well as in the press release:
https://www.tjebackinthegroove.com/presskit

You can probably use a PC game pad (such as one of these https://www.pcgamer.com/uk/best-controller-for-pc-gaming ) to play the game but it might be worth an email to one of the guys mentioned at the end of the press release to check.

Thanks so much Buenchico - that is very useful.

Although it looks like I cannot ask questions in the forum. I have registered with them but I can't ask a question until I have spent $5 with them. I am happy to buy the game which costs more than that, but I don't want to buy it without knowing if it can do what I want it to do! Catch 22!
