Good evening, all!
We've finally had a few spring-like days here in Suffolk. I hope that the weather (and life in general) has been kind to you too, wherever you are.
It was a somewhat below par start for me this week, with just THREE out of seven in the main quiz:
https:/
My score in the junior quiz wasn't that great either, with just TWO out of five:

Your turn now!
No best answer has yet been selected by Buenchico. Once a best answer has been selected, it will be shown here.
For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.Good evening, Buen. It is bitterly cold here in E. Yorkshire and cloudy. Cold enough for snow in fact, but we haven't had it yet.
Right, 5/7 which I'm pleased with, but like you, just 2/5 in the kids' one.
They seem to expect that one will know about pop stars - and they just pass me by. Anyway, I'm in good company on the Junior one. :)
P.S More or less worked out that with the best of intentions, I've been eating the wrong stuff for years. Ever since I searched I'm getting ads. for loads of foods which are rich in iron!!!! Who'd have thought about a viking/celtic gene?..... Thanks for your help. :) x
Good Evening, Chris!
I started well with 6/7
Then came down to Earth with 2/5
It's been a good week but today was bitterly cold and felt very wintery again.
I have been out and about enjoying meals with friends, one of whom was celebrating her 60th, so was having a week of celebrations.
I enjoyed a day out with family today and a meal as part of an early Mothers Day treat.
Looking forward to a lovely weekend. Hope you and the kitties have a lovely week ahead too :-)
Well done with that very impressive 6/7, Arky!
Great scores, RH72!
You're in the lead!
Hiya, Jourdain2!
It's always cold in Yorkshire, isn't it? (It certainly seemed that way when I lived in Sheffield for 20 years, especially when I had to turn up to referee a football match on a muddy pitch out on the moors on a Sunday morning!)
Well done with that 5/7!
As I'm no doctor, I wouldn't rely too much upon my suggestion of a genetic link to your high iron levels but it still remains something to consider though. (I love liver, with or without its contribution to my iron levels!).
Good evening, Karamia!
Well done with your 6/7 score!
I hope that you're not the type of person who puts weight on easily. Otherwise, with all of your celebrations this week, you might soon need to sign up to Slimming World!
I hope that you'll have a lovely Mothers' Day (and, indeed, a lovely weekend too, as well as a great week ahead).
[Your mention of the kitties has reminded me that they'll probably be demanding their Dreamies at any moment now!]
3/7 v 2/7
2/5 v 1/5
I put it down to this vile fluey thing I've had all week.
The powers that be came to inspect the farm today and Shady has been duly recorded as official "non-chemical" rodent control, but he's being very modest about it - shame he doesn't get an agricultural subsidy πΌ
Hope your three are earning their keep by keeping you smiling and keeping you fit :-)
Good evening, Haras2!
"vile fluey thing"? Is that a medical term then? π
(Whatever it is, I certainly hope that it goes away soon!)
I hope that your non-chemical rodent control operative is getting loads of fuss and treats!
My lot do, indeed, keep me smiling. They also keep me awake, especially when they're demanding
(a) food ; and/or
(b) fuss ; and/or
(c) more space on the pillow next to me
in the early hours of the morning!
I hope that you and Shady will a lovely week!
Oops!
I nearly missed Kwillmott's post there! (Sorry about that!)
Well done with that 5/7, Kwillmott!
Hi, Lie-in King!
A good aggregate, as always from you, this week, I see. You're only just behind Redhelen72 at the top of the table!
Hi, Sam!
You managed to beat Haras2, anyway!
I continue to struggle by and I hope that you're well too.
