PSP or DS Lite?
Which is the best? PSP or DS Lite? I know the PSP is about double the price of the DS, but if it is far superior I might be willing to stump up the extra dosh? My son likes playing platform games etc. so what do you think? Thanks.

I own a DS Lite and it's alright for playing now and then but it is limited for original gameplay (with the stylus) when compared to a Game Boy Advance.
There are probably more titles available for the PSP, and it can also play movies, music etc etc The only down side is that if you want to do all this you'll have to buy bigger memory cards (and they're not exactly cheap).
But overall I think your son will be happier with the PSP because it'll be worth it in the long run.

I'd have to disagree with 198x, the DS has a far greater number of games covering the whole spectrum of genres. It is quite incorrect to say that the DS is limited for original gameplay, just look at the Warioware games or Brain Training or Nintendogs or Mario 64 DS, the list goes on and on.
I'm certainly no fan boy or hardcore gamer. I own both formats and I can honestly say that there have been more games that tickled my fancy on the DS than on the PSP.
