Just bought the disney Cars game and was curious to know if anybody knew what the difference was between the standard game and the platinum one.

the platinum one is cheaper

What happens is this. After games have been around for a while they are released on platinum and usually cost around �20, rather than around �40 for new releases. By the time the platinum ones are out, you'll usually find (unless it's an unscrupulous shop) that the original cased games are reduced to the same price.

So, in short, there is no difference except the packaging

Cheers bob, I was only curious because I bought one of ebay and when it arrived this morning I noticed it said platinum on it but the one in the ad didn`t. But if they`re the same it doesn`t matter
