What if any is the difference between a Nintendo DS & a Nintendo DS Lite? Also what game would you suggest I get for my 5 year old, it will be his first games cosole. Thanks

DS lite is a slimmer, brighter, and more lightweight redesign of the DS..A few design flaws have been fixed as well.

Games...Any Mario one is always a good place to start, and then theres Nintendogs and Super Monkey Ball

i suggest a mario game, but i wouldnt suggest nintendogs even though it does seem a highly popular game im an 18 year old who found it highly aggravating that you have to sit and speak into the mic. about 30 times just so the dog would learn its name and unless it learns its name you cant do anything else with it!! i got soo annoyed at it!
so i wouldnt suggest nintendogs unless your son has a lot of patience!
