Memory card ps2

My hubbie needs a bit of help. He downloaded an option file for PES6 and his ps2 memory card says that it has no data even though it says that only 4 MB are free. Is there any way of refinding the data? If you try and save anything on there it still says no data but the amount of free space goes down. He is going a bit spare so guys you are my only hope of getting the tv back. Thanks in advance

There is an option when you select the memory card before you put in a game, to access the memory card, so try that.

We've tried that I'm afraid but that is when it says no data.

If you buy something called ARMAX for about �20 you get a disc full of shark codes to use on any game, but it also comes with a memory card bit on th disc which allows you to access it completely and do whatever you like with it. I have it but it depends as you may send �20 on something you don't need. The good thing about the one I got was that it came with a 16 MB memory card, which is twice as big as the normal. Check out the ARMAX website called Codejunkies as it may be what you need.
