toy of yester-year ?
Dear All
I'm not too sure if this is posted in the right topic .... I've stuck it in a couple of 'em in the hope that someone can help !
This question may be of interest to many of you lads born in the 1960's, 70's ....!
Do any of you remember a cardboard toy which, when unpacked, folded out to make a roadway layout, featuring houses, shops, etc which were all 3-dimensional, raised up and not just flat to the actual roadway ....??
The toy had great detail ... marked out roads, junctions, etc ....
Anyway, my question to you is do any of ya know if this toy is still made, albeit more modern and, if you know, can ya tell me who makes it and where you might've seen it ?
I had great fun with this toy as a child and hope to get hold of one for my young son ....
I think Matchbox may have produced it to go with their own Matchbox cars, however, their website is so unuser friendly you can't even e-mail 'em !!!
Thanks again folks ...
