Can you play multiplayer on all games?

What's the name of the lead you need to connect two consoles together?

When connecting two consoles do both consoles need to have the same game inserted in order to play against each other or is it enough that one console has it?

Hi,
DS consoles (original & lite versions ) connect wirelessly using WiFi, ther is no socket privided for s cabled connection.

As for multiplayer games, that depends on the individual game. Some are single player only, some require a game cart in both machines, some need only one game cart. The various options are usually listed on the back of the game box, or are given in game reviews.
