The popular remote controlled dragonfly we have just bought for our son just nosedives. What are we doing wrong? We have followed the instructions to the letter and at 35, it should perform!
Yeah, my son got one for xmas bought by his great aunt. His one does go forward but very fast giving him no time to get control. It will only steer left or right anyway. Tried sticking the ribbon on the tail to slow it down but by then he'd lost interest (he's 10) and went back to his DS! Glad we never paid for it. I don't recommend using it indoors unless you have VERY large rooms!
Does anyone know if you can make it hover?
We actually remedied the nose diving by sticking a blob of blu tac to the tail, which distributes the weight more evenly. It now flies really well! Shame it couldn't have been made with the correct weight ratio. It won't hover though, on one spot!
