Help!! I am not expert at games but someone has given me a Nintendo DS and I have been enjoying myself with 'Narnia'. I have completed all the quests (apart from the new dwarf cave, which I have found out you can only do after rescuing Edmund)) but am now totally stumped as to how to go about rescuing Edmund. I have been running around Narnia for two evenings in desparation!!

Can anyone out there please give me a pointer in the right direction. I am sure someone aged 7 would laugh at my plight, but age is not on my side.

Well earlier this year I was a 44D but luckily I lost some of it. They are uncomfortable and do get in the way, and in the heat they get dreadfully sore. I didn't look pregnat from the back either (everyone said it'll be a boy) but I wasn't that big at all, could bend down and touch my toes right through to the end (and not bending knees). I was a big at 5months as I was at 9....

Have been to see my friend. The medical term is she has Vascular Dementia. poor Sue. There but for the grace of 'whoever is looking after me' go I. and I pray to the same person that they take here in her sleep.
Have to go see you all later..
sorry Kit, said good morning and forgot Happy Birthday I hope you have a wonderful day
<ouch ouch ouch ouch ouch - feet feet feet feet feet> If Adidas can make sneakers I can live with, why can nobody make winter boots the same way?? Thank you so much for your cakes and flowers and teenage pregnancies (?) and whatnot, possums. I had some of Robi's and Neti's this morning but never had the time to say thanks before we were off again. Today we've been to the Museum of Photography - it's becoming my favourite museum. I particularly enjoyed the Fashion exhibition. Lots of old black-and-white photos, Richard Avedon, Irving Penn, Man Ray, David Bailey - all the way through to contemporary fashion photography with for instance Scarlett Johansson as one of the models. Here's one of the photos we liked (Irving Penn) http://i52.tinypic.com/30uy9hd.jpg I bought a fridge magnet with Andy Warhol's photo and the text "Your 15 minutes are up" and one with the museum logo which is so cleverly designed you have no idea! Check it out, it's in the top left corner here, you can find F for photography and M for museum and the whole thing looks like a shutter but then again the star-shape makes you think of a flash... http://en.fotografiska.eu/ http://en.fotografiska.eu/

Anyhoo, then we had dinner at a less fancy restaurant (sorry jno I can't find bleak roe in my online dictionaries either but it's posh and not veggie) and next went to the Christmas market in Old town. Lovely two days, unlovely two feet...

Jude I am so sorry about your friend xxx
Löjrom seems to be bleak roe... I'm sure it's a treat
Yes it's löjrom in Swedish but I thought you meant the term 'bleak roe' didn't mean anything to you? so I was looking for an alternative word in English.
Here you go jno, vendace roe http://aboutqualityfo...ern-sweden-kalix.html
good morning all. DH has an assessment today so he has to get up early so no kip for moi :-(
Morning all.

Glad you have a good day kit, apart from the feet! Can't you take you laptop to the library and then you can keep in touch .

Good luck with the assessment Mr W.

How's mr s and shaney?
no, I didn't know how they translated it into 'bleak', Kit, which normally means unattractive, hopeless, depressing, something like that. So I thought it was maybe caviar that made you all gloomy. Anyway, now I've looked it up, it is also the name of a fish. I don't eat fish or caviar or anything, so I'm not up with these things.

Woofgang, take your laptop along and blog during the procedure... maybe even a video diary?
Morning jno, my you are sounding perky today, is the botty better?
Good morning everyone. all the best Mr. W.and Woofy with today's assessment.
A bit breezy and cold but not looking so dull today. Sorry about my mood yesterday, had a sad one but I'm alright now.. Have to be, it's school day.
Got a busy week this week as well. doing something every day. Including a flipping blood test. Still not as many as Mr S so mustn't complain - hope things are going well in the Shaney household.

Hope all other biddyfriends are doing alright and you have a good day.

Later 'gater(s)
I think so, thank you, neti, but every mouthful is dicing with death these days. I keep thinking 'I wonder if it was a peanut that did that?'

I heard a forecast of 2 degrees and snow for Thursday this morning, well that cheers me right up NOT.

I am going to hear a Canadian folk singer this evening - apparently it's in a vegan restaurant so I don't suppose shel'll be singing about the joys of hunting and fishing, probably just about lawnmowing and stuff. Finger food has been promised but I don't hold out much hope for it.
"Grattis på födelsedagen". kip

just bring the sleigh with you Vinny, for use when the tube shuts down
lol jno, songs about the joys of stalking carrots (sorry Kit) veggie food can be wonderful but once it gets worthy, IMO you are better off eating the tablemats.
DH went off to be assessed on his own..MRSA swab, allergies, BP etecetera. he is passed fit so that's okay. I had to go and grovel at the docs for him. he had a flu jab appointment on friday morning, it was in all the diaries but with him coming out of hospital on the tuesday, we were so wacked out by friday that we both forgot it. The surgery staff are lovely. the lady just laughed when i said i had come to grovel on behalf of my husband. She rebooked it with no fuss at all.
The restaurant that came second in gordon ramsays best restaurants was a Vegetarian restaurant called Prashad.Even the judges who are staunch animal eaters

Hi folk. Am having a very odd day. Got out of bed reluctantly at 8.00am. Had breakie and did a few jobs, looked in on AB but it was so cold in this room that I quickly beat a retreat. Went back to bed and woke up at 1.00pm with a terrible tummy ache. Just feel very yucky. Tummy ache has now gone but I have zero energy!!

Glad Mr Woofy is OK woofy.

We have missed our flu jabs, first I had one cold, then another, then sinusitis and now Mr LL is full of cold and miseries (but being him of course has to keep going to work and won't rest!!)

Hopefully, both of us will be OK shortly and can pop off down to the surgery.

Still cold in here so I am going back to the warmth of the lounge.

Take care all of you.
I can cope with vegetarian but I am wondering if vegan might all be a bit much for me. Well, I'll soon see.

I still feel odd when clicking on a thread that refers to "the new dwarf cave".
<waves feebly>
just passing through to say a quick hello...it's my head head head that's the problem with these blinders coming and going...will see if I can get in at the surgery this week, I didn't have the strength to go today & Mondays are manic anyway.
Love to all. amen and out.
